As a translation agency specialising in editorial and literary translation, the Frankfurt Book Fair is a staple on our events calendar. This year, our Director Ana and Head of Production Kasia once again headed over to Germany, laden with copies of just some of the many works we’ve translated over the years. Our stand, neatly located just a stone’s throw away from some of our publishing clients, attracted a great deal of interest and kick-started a string of conversations about the world of multilingual publishing.
We engaged with clients old and new from a whole range of industry backgrounds and geographical locations. In between the many meetings arranged, we also got the opportunity to delve into the hustle and bustle of this trade fair and explore what other exhibitors had to offer.
We’re already working on some exciting new collaborations with stakeholders dotted across the globe. If you missed us this year but would like to know how we help publishers, museums and heritage sites reach a wider global audience, you can always drop us an email at enquiries@firstedit.co.uk.
