However, as there are so many speakers, there are significant regional differences and various dialects. The most commonly used varieties are Cantonese and Mandarin. And you might have also heard the terms Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

If you are not quite sure which variety of Chinese you need, just follow this simple guide!
