Our weeks here at First Edition always start with a team meeting where we have a chat about what happened during the previous week, we talk about our new and on-going projects, so that we can have an idea of what everyone has been up to.

This week’s meeting has just made me realise once again what a wide range of interesting subjects we cover at First Edition. In just one week’s span, we’ve updated several PILs, SPCs, and labels in all the official EU languages, translated some documentation related to an orphan drug – again, in all the official EU languages –, started working on the latest issue of a  journal on ADHD in four languages – this project involves translation, editing, typesetting and proofreading –, made a start on a German cook book about cakes (yummy!), and also on a multilingual guide book for a beautiful castle. We’ve also translated a set of financial documents from French and had another project that involved translating our client’s internal communication into several languages. And this is not all! We’ve also dealt with a number of small and not-so-small urgent requests for old and new clients and various translations for our regular and individual clients.

We are really looking forward to seeing what new exciting projects the next week will bring!
