Today is International Translation Day, celebrated every year on the feast day of St. Jerome, considered to be the patron saint of translators and best known for his translation of the Bible into Latin in the 5th century.

The celebrations, promoted by the International Federation of Translations (FIT), have been going since 1953 and are used as an opportunity to promote and celebrate the work of translators across the world in this time of increasing globalisation. This year they are concentrating their efforts of the important issue of language rights. Click here to find out more.

And don’t forget, we’re still offering 10% off translations for all new customers this week – give us a call on 01223 356733 or drop us an email now for an no-obligation quote.
