Those of you lucky enough to be in Cambridge over the next couple of weeks may be surprised to find random pianos planted all over the city, from Arbury Court to Cherry Hinton Hall. There’s even one tucked under Elizabeth Way Bridge.

Play Me, I’m Yours’ is an artwork by British artist Luke Jerram and has been touring internationally since 2008. As part of the Festival of Ideas, fifteen pianos, designed and decorated by local artists and community groups, have been put into public spaces across Cambridge for anyone to play and enjoy.

How wonderful to come across a piano being lovingly played whilst wandering across Jesus Green or Kings Parade. Or have a play yourself! A wonderful sight and sound that’s bringing people together all over the city.
