Primavera will be taking part in this year’s Cambridge Open Studios, which kicks off next weekend. This annual event, one of the oldest of its type in the country, offers a unique opportunity to connect with the artists in their own environment, with the artists and craftspeople of Cambridgeshire sharing their skills from their own homes and studios over the four July weekends. This year sees 253 individuals exhibiting in 180 venues across Cambridge and the surrounding area – including Ely, Soham and Saffron Walden.
First Edition’s sister company Primavera is teaming up with two local artists to showcase their work. Heather Gardner will be in attendance for the first two weekends of Open Studios – July 7th-8th and 14th-15th – in our Kings Parade gallery. Click here to see some of her wonderful oil paintings. And painter and printmaker Rika Newcombe will be showing her work for all four weekends of July at our Magdalene Street gallery – click here to view her work.
