Do you have a checklist?
To help our staff estimate as accurately as possible the likely cost and timescale for handling your translation, please have the following information to hand:
- What is the nature of the document to be translated?
- How long is it?
- What languages do you require?
- What is the subject matter?
- What is the translation's end use?
(For information only or for publication?) - What is your deadline?
Please allow enough time in your schedule for translation and checking. A text that took two months to write in the source language cannot be translated into another language in just a few days. The average turnaround time for translation only is 1000 to 2000 words per working day. - What presentation do you require?
(e.g. text only or page make-up, hard copy or on disk, CD, EPS/PDF files) - If a specific layout is to be followed, can you supply the template on disk or CD?
- Do you have any corporate material or any other reference material which may assist the translator?
For a firm quotation, please send us the document to be translated (by fax, as hard copy by post, on disk/CD or by e-mail). Prices may vary according to length (for large texts we can offer discounted rates), language, technicality, subject matter and deadline. On sight of the text we are able to select a suitable translator and give you the appropriate price, thus ensuring you get the best deal for each assignment.
